The existence of the in-company newspaper began in November 1919 when an edition was first issued. Back then it was a trade edition called “Red sailor”. It was a typography organ of political department of Dnipro military flotilla. Later the newspaper was renamed into”Dniprovsky Vodnik” and since January 1967 newspaper gets its current name “Vodnik”.

The newspaper is being published twice a month. Nowadays it focuses on important in-company events and covers the news of water transport and shipping industry.
